Your BODHi sitting cushion is filled with buckwheat husk and lavender, and hand-sewn locally. It is a symbol for restoration in your life.

Just as certain places quietly guide the mind — a bed that tells us it's time to wind down, a desk that helps us switch on — our brains learn these patterns. Sit on your BODHi often enough and your mind begins to recognise it as a place to soften, settle and return to yourself. It naturally becomes a space where slowing down comes easier.

Build a relationship with it. Take it to the garden, the bedroom floor, the office. Keep it somewhere you'll see it, because it's for you — anywhere, at any time.

How to use — Sit still, focus on your breath, the sensations in your body and the sounds around you. When your mind wanders, notice and return to the present moment.

Materials — Cover: 100% linen-cotton. Inner: 100% cotton calico filled with buckwheat husk and lavender.

Dimensions — 32cm diameter × 15cm height

Care — Cover: hand wash in warm water, air dry. Inner: keep the buckwheat inside; if it gets wet, leave in the sun to dry. To top up the lavender scent, add a few drops of organic essential oil directly onto the calico.
